South High School will temporarily be closed at its rear section for running track resurfacing during the summer. Work is expected to begin on Friday, June 27. It is anticipated that the project will be finished by mid-August.
The three pedestrian entrances to the running track/football field side of the school will temporarily be closed off by fencing. Entrances include one by the tennis courts, one near the custodial entrance, and another on the opposite side of the track at the dead-end residential street Laurel Hill Drive. Signage will also be placed at these locations.
