Central High School junior Charles Luca was recently named a finalist in the NYU-TCS Competition for high school students.
Each year, the school’s Department of Technology, Culture and Society hosts the annual competition for high school students, challenging them to think critically about problems in our society and create solutions in the areas of sustainable urban environments, science and technology studies (medicine, law, science and technology), and integrated digital media.
Charles was selected as one of eight finalists out of more than 200 students for his research paper on stem cell research. The Central High School administration congratulates Charles on achieving finalist status.
