Parents are invited to register three- and four-year olds in a free pre-school program provided by high school students in Early Childhood Education classes at South High School, 150 Jedwood Place in Valley Stream.
Classes will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:15 - 2:35 p.m. and will run from Tuesday, May 4, through Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Under the supervision of classroom teacher Ms. Rosanna Ali, high school students will prepare and provide daily lessons and educational activities for pre-school children, while gaining hands-on experience in teaching. Each day will have specific themes, crafted by the high school students, wherein books and lessons will relate to the day’s theme.
