Parents, friends and faculty members gathered at North High School to celebrate a number of the school’s best and brightest students at its honor society induction ceremony on March 6.
In all, six societies welcomed new inductees, including the National Honor Society, the Career and Technical Education Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Language Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Students vowed to continue to demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership and character during their academic careers at North High School.
North High School Principal Cliff Odell congratulated students on their induction into their respective honor societies, and expressed his pride in their achievements. “These are the students who demonstrated work ethic, intellectual ability and intrinsic motivation to be successful,” he said. “They are the future leaders of our nation and global community, and I feel confident that we are in good hands.”
